Things that keep me busy
My "I love me" file
The following is a list of activities showing much the same kind of information that appeared in my annual
performance reports in the Air Force. I used to have to review what I did each year--it was a refreshing reminder that some
of my non-work activities meant something to someone. I'm not listing the work-work things that I normally would include, but
work does keep me busy and we've done so much that it would bore you (we've moved several small mountains).
2006 - present: One of the Community College Representatives on the Illinois Century Network
Advanced Engineering Task Force.
2006: As part of the Polo Lions Club, helped build a house in Polo for Habitat for Humanity.
2005 - present: Attending the University of Illinois (I2CS online program), accepted into the MCS program in 2007.
2005 - present: Member of the DeKalb County Community Foundation Technology
Committee.
2004 - present: Kishwaukee College Advisor for the Kishwaukee College Computer Club.
2004 - present: One of the Kishwaukee College Advisors for the Kishwaukee College International Students Club..
2004 - present: Northern Illinois Technology Triangle - Advanced Communications Group (Kishwaukee College Representative).
2004 - present: Polo Economic Development Corporation (currently President).
2003: As part of the Polo Lions Club, helped build a house in Polo for Habitat for Humanity.
2003 - present: Member of the Polo Lions Club (was secretary and treasurer, now 3rd Vice President).
2003 - 2004: Taught free, basic computer familiarization classes for residents at the
Polo Public Library.
