Welcome to a Tropical Holiday Escape!

It's been a while since I created a 3D digital work, but here it is. I created this using POV-Ray version 3.6 (on a Mac, of course) while I watched over the College's first LAN party. The idea struck me shortly after we put up a lighted palm tree in our basement. In the true spirit of Unix, I borrowed the palm tree in this image from Kurt Bangert (www.travelnotes.de) but doctored it a bit to make it work in my scene.

I am including versions in various sizes to fit a variety of desktop resolutions. Enjoy!
